چکیده
The pre-harvest biocontrol approach currently used includes laboratory inoculations using non-aflatoxigenic strains of Aspergillus flavus. This strategy effectively suppresses the indigenous aflatoxigenic and reduces aflatoxin accumulation in sweetcorn. current vitro study’s main objective is to determine diametric growth rates both Aflatoxin (AF)+ AF− improve understanding competitive relationships among these sweetcorn (Zea mays). Sweetcorn kernels inoculated with AF+ only, co-inoculated + were investigated for concentrations. results revealed that at 25 30 °C much greater than strains, which was line previous studies. findings showed AKR5− AKL34− inhibited colony propagation subsequent AFB1 contamination (up 79%) strains. On other hand, AKR1− AKL35− least effective reducing contents only by 58% 60%, respectively. There a significant difference (p < 0.05) reduction achieved A. present study indicated population expressions supports notion exclusion through vigorous development fungi.

Presently appearance of resistance to antifungal agents among Aspergillus species is dramatically increasing. The objective of this study was to look at the in vitro activities of antifungal drugs against Iranian clinical (from nail, bronchoalveolar lavage, paranasal sinus) isolated A. flavus strains. The susceptibility of 45 aflatoxigenic and non-aflatoxigenic Aspergillus flavus strains were e...

متن کاملCo-inoculation of aflatoxigenic and non-aflatoxigenic strains of Aspergillus flavus to study fungal invasion, colonization, and competition in maize kernels
A currently utilized pre-harvest biocontrol method involves field inoculations with non-aflatoxigenic Aspergillus flavus strains, a tactic shown to strategically suppress native aflatoxin-producing strains and effectively decrease aflatoxin contamination in corn. The present in situ study focuses on tracking the invasion and colonization of an aflatoxigenic A. flavus strain (AF70), labeled with...

Fifteen non-aflatoxigenic strains of Aspergillus flavus, represent a wide range of geographic regions of Iran (six provinces include Fars, Ardebil, Guilan, Golestan, Kerman and Semnan) and vegetative compatibility groups (VCGs), were collected from corn (Zea mays L.), peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) and pistachio (Pistachia vera L.) soils and kernels, were screened for the presence of aflatoxin bi...
متن کاملNon-aflatoxigenicity of commercial Aspergillus oryzae strains due to genetic defects compared to aflatoxigenic Aspergillus flavus.
Aspergillus oryzae is generally recognized as safe, but it is closely related to A. flavus in morphology and genetic characteristics. In this study, we tested the aflatoxigenicity and genetic analysis of nine commercial A. oryzae strains that were used in Korean soybean fermented products. Cultural and HPLC analyses showed that none of the commercial strains produced detectable amount of aflato...
